Visualization is an exercise most of us just don’t give much thought to. Journeys into the unconscious can easily seem strange, unproductive, or even risky.
As a rule, however, the individual is so unconscious that he altogether fails to see his own potentialities for decision. Instead he is consciously and anxiously looking around for external rules and regulations which can guide him in his perplexity.
Carl Jung went on to suggest that our hesitancy to look for answers within is largely a result of our education. Jung writes about “the secrets of private experience” and encourages our inner explorations.
